  31. If you have made an effort, and cannot get any further, then posting
  32. asking why may be in order. If you cannot see how to start this
  33. problem, see others in the class or your lecturer. This is not
  34. comp.lang.c.homework.

  36. Computer Science is all about problem solving, not a typing class.

  38. If you have genuinely made an effort but cannot get any further, you
  39. could have posted your thoughts so far, and we may have been able to
  40. help you out, but most problems are best thought out and discussed in
  41. real-time with your colleagues, and this group only used as a last
  42. resort.

  44. In my job, when I help out less experienced developers, I always make
  45. sure I help _them_ find the answers. I don't just spoon-feed a
  46. solution as they learn nothing from that.
